U18 OPEN TOURNAMENT
The Melrose Sevens U18 Tournament returns in 2027, bringing together exciting young rugby talent from across the UK and beyond.
For the first time, the programme will feature both Boys’ and Girls’ U18 competitions, taking place across Friday 21 and Saturday 22 May.
Friday will see the main pool-stage action, before the leading teams return on Saturday for the knockout stages and the chance to play on the famous Greenyards pitch alongside the senior Men’s and Women’s tournaments.
Introduced in 2025, the U18 competition has quickly become an important part of Sevens weekend, giving young players the opportunity to experience the atmosphere, history and excitement of playing at the birthplace of the game.
